Jack Rafferty vs. Mark Chamberlain: The Ultimate Showdown in Altrincham

British super lightweight champion Jack Rafferty faces Mark Chamberlain in a high-stakes bout at Altrincham's Planet Ice Arena. Don't miss this explosive fight!

British and Commonwealth super lightweight champion Jack Rafferty is set to defend his titles against Mark Chamberlain in what promises to be an electrifying fight at the Planet Ice Arena in Altrincham this Saturday. Rafferty, known as the 'Demolition Man', boasts an impeccable professional record of 26 wins, including 17 stoppages. He’s confident of delivering a knockout performance.

"There'll be a demolition job for sure," Rafferty told BBC Sport. "I have to do whatever I have to. If the knockout comes then it does - I'm ready and tuned up for this."

Rafferty’s recent victories over Reece MacMillan and Cory O'Regan at the Co-op Live Arena have solidified his reputation as a dominant force in the ring. This weekend, he headlines a sold-out event in front of his home crowd, a milestone he’s worked tirelessly to achieve.

"I'm massively looking forward to this," Rafferty added. "Three, four fights ago I was still paying for opponents myself and now I've signed to Queensberry and am fighting a massive name in a headline show. It's what dreams are made of and I've worked hard for this."

On the other side of the ring, Mark Chamberlain, a southpaw with 17 wins and just one defeat, is determined to prove his mettle. His sole loss came against Josh Padley at Wembley Stadium, but he’s since bounced back stronger. Chamberlain’s journey from working on a building site to competing on the world stage is a testament to his resilience and ambition.

A victory for Rafferty would not only earn him the Lonsdale Belt outright but also open doors to significant opportunities at the world level. "It would be nice to win the British title outright," Rafferty said. "After that I'd like to push on to big fights, if Frank Warren says 'jump' I'll say 'how high?', it's as simple as that."

This fight is more than just a title defense; it’s a test of character for both fighters. With the stakes higher than ever, fans can expect an all-action contest that will keep them on the edge of their seats.
