Dave Reddin is all set to take up the role of director of professional rugby for the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) on Friday. The WRU has been on the lookout for someone to oversee the senior men's and women's games since the departure of Nigel Walker in December 2024. Reddin, a renowned performance expert, has an impressive background. He worked for the England's Rugby Football Union (RFU) and was part of significant events like the 2003 World Cup and the 2005 British and Irish Lions' tour. He also had stints with Team GB and the FA. With Wales' men and women's teams facing challenges, Reddin's appointment brings hope for a turnaround.
