Joining Wimbledon at 23, he was part of the infamous Crazy Gang. Despite missing the 1988 FA Cup final due to injury, he made significant contributions. After leaving Wimbledon, he played abroad and had a long coaching career at Sunderland. His passing at 63 is a loss to the football community.
